Graduated as an architect from TVB School of Habitat Studies, New Delhi in 2003, and after working for a year with the multinational Dutch architectural firm CSO Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon, I came to Auroville in October 2004 on what was then my second visit. The spirit and atmosphere of Auroville deeply resonated with me, and over time, this place became both home and a continuing source of inspiration and learning.
Auroville carries a living aspiration towards refinement, consciousness, and perfection in the smallest details of everyday life. Being immersed in such an environment gradually shaped my own approach towards architecture, design, and making. Over the years, my journey here has involved a wide range of explorations across architecture, landscape design, interiors, product development, research, and hands-on construction projects, both within Auroville and beyond.
Holistic sustainability has remained a central thread throughout these explorations. The harmony between built form and nature, honesty of materials and techniques, climatic responsiveness, functionality, simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and the reinterpretation of the cultural continuity of tropical architecture are values that consistently find expression in my work.I remain deeply interested in creating spaces and systems that are rooted in context, sensitive to ecology, and meaningful in human experience.
